Foodservice Sales Lead (Full- or Part-Time)

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys the breadth of responsibility of joining an early stage start-up and can be agile and efficient. This role requires a high level of creativity as we are building a new consumer category. This position is open to part- or full-time employment. 

We currently distribute through Gordon Food Service and are looking to unlock more distribution on the West Coast and Northeast. We are seeking a candidate with experience selling into C&U and K-12 in California, the Midwest and New England. We are also planning to expand our foodservice business into healthcare and restaurants. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Unlock distribution on the West Coast and Northeast through C&U and K-12 accounts. 

  • Sell into education, healthcare and restaurant accounts serviced by Gordon Food Service. 

  • Develop customer relations, perform product tastings when needed and support customized menu development 

  • Travel to relevant conferences to represent Adda Veggie, manage booths and meet with key accounts.

  • Provide post-sales support and perform sales forecasting for the accounts acquired.

  • Create sell-in story to customers based on the Adda Veggie value proposition compared to existing products in plant-based protein categories and customer testimonials.

Experience & Education

  • 5+ years of experience in food service sales

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Location: Flexible, open to remote work. The company is based in El Cerrito, California. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
