Our Indian take on a classic burger! Spicy and sweet, this masala burger is absolutely packed with flavor! Dress it up with chutney, tomatoes, onions, lettuce and enjoy.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Adda Veggie Indian Masala Blend

  • 1 ½ cups sweet potato, cubed and steamed

  • ¼ cup Spinach, sauteed

  • 4 full size buns or 8-12 mini burger buns (depending on size of patty)

  • fixings of choice (lettuce, red onion, tomato, chutney)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare full package of Adda Veggie by soaking Protein Crumbles in ½ cup of water for 2 minutes, stirring halfway. Then stir in Adda Mix.

  2. Mix steamed sweet potato and sauteéd spinach into prepared Adda Veggie mix.

  3. Form 2”-4" burger patties, depending on size of bun.

  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, shallow fry patties until browned and crispy, around 1-2 minutes per side.

  5. Assemble Adda Veggie masala burgers on buns. Dress with fixings of choice. We recommend pairing with mint chutney, raita (Indian yogurt sauce) or spicy ketchup if served as an appetizer.
